May 6, 2019 Edition
Hello, humans. Guess what day of the week it is for me? That's right, it's Monday!
Life has been pretty uneventful lately and we have established a routine that seems to work for us. I've lost some weight because Mommy is able to walk me a bit more and I play with several of my friends here at the complex. Mommy has an appointment with Social Security on the 8th to help determine if she will receive SSI or SSDI. She hopes that they figure it out soon so she can start receiving payments since her last day of work for summer break is the 21st of this month. While she will be eligible for unemployment, it's not really a long-term solution to pay her rent. She's not worried about June's rent because she will have that covered; however, she is a bit worried about rent for July and August. She's not stressing out too much about it because she'll just have to wait and see how much her unemployment will be.
Mommy was finally able to get some reading done this weekend. She's finished writing a review that she will share this week, and she started reading another book yesterday. She has a couple of deadlines coming up, so she wants to make sure that she meets those and she wants to read a couple more books that she promised to review as soon as possible.
