Lexi's recovery from having her teeth extracted is progressing nicely. Mike and I took her to Miss Ashley for grooming and the pictures of her above were taken on the way home from her grooming appointment. As you can see, I often deal with varying degrees of cooperation, ranging from very uncooperative to tolerant cooperation, when I am taking her picture.
Last week, I participated in the release party on Facebook for The Coven Princess by Lily Luchesi. It was my first time participating in a release party on Facebook, and I was very surprised when I won a few contests and the grand prize. I enjoyed networking with other book bloggers and authors and I plan on checking out more release day parties in the future when I am able to.
Posting Update
My work schedule has changed and now I'm off Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. As a result, my posting schedule will change and you can expect to see reviews posted on Sundays and Thursdays between 10a.m. and 11a.m.; however, my newsletter will go out at the usual time on Mondays. I'm happy with this schedule change because it will give me a day to do whatever I want while still allowing me to keep appointments during the week. I'll also be at the store the day we receive freight and the day after so I can help to ensure that the new shoes we get are available to customers as soon as possible.
